Monday: Despicable Deeds

*cries* I'm back!!!!!!! *hugs fic_promptly*

It's been so long since I've hosted! I missed hosting! Like, to the point of withdrawals missed!

I'm Alex, btw, and I will be your slave driver for the week. *cracks whip* I expect lots of prompts and lots of fills, so get on it, folks! For my first day on the job I would like you all to focus on "despicable deeds." This could mean you want to focus on our baddies of the story doing what they do best, or it could be that one of our unlucky heroes has to do something they don't like in order to save mankind, or something as simple as being forced to engage in some gross activity as punishment for misbehaving. I don't know! Get creative with it!

Remember, these despicable deeds are for the characters, not for us, so please do stick to the rules:

- Six prompts each per fandom per day. Author's choice prompts are unlimited.
- One prompt per comment.
- Warn for spoilers in the subject line of your comment and leave three lines of spoiler space.

Please prompt using the following format:

Fandom, character or pairing, prompt
Or, for crossovers: Fandom 1/Fandom 2, character or pairing, prompt

If you're confused by that, let me give you some examples:

Avengers, Clint, Pulling a prank that accidentally results in the whole building going on lockdown mode, trapping everyone inside.
Dark Angel, Alec, His nights are filled with dreams of the horrible things he had to do for Manticore.
Magnificent Seven, Ezra, "No! Now I have done a lot for the betterment of this town and its good people, but I am not doing that!"

If you guys don't care to take a stab at being a little naughty, there's always a ton of lonely prompts on Delicious or Pinboard that would love some love! Go. Poke. Write something. It'll put a smile on someone's face, I guarantee it. ;)

comments

Wednesday: Astrology

Hello again, fellow prompters!
So, who here checks their horoscope? Whether you follow it to the letter or simply get a laugh from it, they're often ripe with fic potential! So, let's throw out some horoscope-y lines for our characters to tackle. I'm not limiting this to Sun Signs - Chinese Astrology, Yearly Horoscopes, Moon Signs, Mayan Astrology, Numerology... from horoscopes themselves to playing with judging a character's sign based on characteristics, go wild!

Some resources:
Astrology.com
Yahoo! To you, it’s completely ridiculous — but don’t let on your true feelings."
Any, any, "All of your goals do not always need to be met. Just trying is enough sometimes."

Do you need more than this prompt in your writing life? Seek more at any time on Delicious or Pinboard... and in the past right here in this community!
Tuesday: Feelings Overload!

Good morning again!

Do you have a lot of feelings about things? I do. I am usually overwhelmed with feelings about everything, and that translates over to my characters! Except for those characters who refuse to have feelings. Because they exist, too. They stubbornly stand there and glare a lot.

Anyway, as you can (hopefully) tell, today's prompt is feelings! BUT don't think I'm just limiting to happy, sad, angry, etc. etc. etc. (Although those are perfectly legitimate emotions). People can feel lots of things! They can feel the texture of silk, or that it's really hot outside. They can feel sick and need hugs. They can lose the ability to feel altogether, or be numb. So let's explore these, shall we?

The rules:

- Six prompts each per fandom per day. Author's choice prompts are unlimited.
- One prompt per comment.
- Warn for spoilers in the subject line of your comment and leave three lines of spoiler space.

Please prompt using the following format:

Fandom, character or pairing, prompt
Or, for crossovers: Fandom 1/Fandom 2, character or pairing, prompt

Examples:
Castle, Lanie, Watching Castle and Beckett is the most amusing part of her day
Thor, Sif/Thor, unrequited love
The Avengers, Thor/Tony, Thor's lightning makes Tony tingle
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Twilight Sparkle, education overrides emotional maturity
Any, any, silk sheets
Any, any, the way you touch me

This prompt leave you frustrated? Well, there are more prompts on Delicious or Pinboard... and in previous posts! Don't let them be lonely!

comments

BIV get you down. There's more to colors than meets the eye: quotes about colors, names that happen to be colors... perhaps somebody can't stand the color scheme in a house, or has to wear red socks every other Tuesday. Maybe things aren't just black and white to some people. Or perhaps a favorite character is reading "50 Shades of Grey."

The rules:

- Six prompts each per fandom per day.
thursday: honesty

Good morning, everybody. My week is already over, how fast that time passed! Very well, then; your theme for today is Honesty. Honesty is a virtue, but is it appropriate to be honest in every situation? Maybe a sudden burst of honesty turns a relationship upside down. Or it reveals a formerly forgotten side of someone. Or maybe one honest word leads to heaps of fluff.

Rules are as follows:

- Six prompts each per fandom per day. Author's choice prompts are unlimited.
- One prompt per comment.
- Warn for spoilers in the subject line of your comment and leave three lines of spoiler space.

Please prompt using the following format:

Fandom, character or pairing, prompt
Or, for crossovers: Fandom 1/Fandom 2, character or pairing, prompt

If nothing today appeals to you, why not check out the lonely prompts (on Delicious and Pinboard)?
